Million Dollar Teacher Project
Anybody who has listened to Brian talk about the work he does with our public school clients knows how passionate he is about making a positive impact in the world of education. Million Dollar Teacher Project (MDTP) is a non-profit organization founded in 2016 to strengthen schools in Arizona. MDTP is focused on elevating the teaching profession by making educators feel like “a million bucks”. They accomplish this via three focus areas: Recognition, Compensation, and Support. Currently, they are focused on engaging with Title 1 schools (high percentage of students from economically challenged families).
Last year, Brian met MDTP Founder (Lloyd Hopkins) at House of Genius PHX (another one of Brian’s volunteer engagements) and knew immediately that he wanted to get involved with this organization. After several months of exploring various partnership opportunities between MDTP and The PEAK Fleet, Brian decided the most impactful approach would be to pursue a spot on the MDTP Board of Directors and started his term in July.
